In math this week we are learning about measuring the area and perimeter of different objects. Ask your child to tell you how you measure the perimeter (around the outside) and area (cover the inside space) of an object.

In science we started talking about our next unit - Living Things. Ask your child to name 2 things that are living and 2 things that are not alive. We also talked about how we can tell something is alive and living. (it moves on its own, it grows and it has babies - reproduces). Ask your child how you can tell if something is alive.
