Today in math we began talking about 3 D shapes. Look around your home for any 3 D shapes. Tell Mom or Dad the difference between a cube and a rectangular prism (cube has only squares on it and a rectangular prism can have rectangles and squares). Ask your child to do these equations and then explain how they figured out the answer: 6 + 7, 6 + 9
In language today we chanted out this week's word wall words, read a spring poem and practiced sound out different words and then played Guess the Covered word. If you have time tonight ask your child to sound out these words: spring, bud, flower, growing, sprout.
Have a great evening and see you tomorrow.
