Great Day

We are collecting items for our Christmas shopping day on December 8th.

New word wall words are on the blog and in your child’s agenda.

During math today we practiced counting, telling time to the half hour, and then we surveyed our friends to find out their favourite farm animal. The students used their results to complete a bar graph. If you have time tonight please show your child the bar graph below and ask them these questions:

How many police cars did the students see?  How many more trucks than fire engines were seen?  How many more race cars were seen than ambulances?

In language we chanted out this week’s word wall words and then wrote a recount sentence in our journals. If you have time tonight, please ask your child to read this week’s word wall words to you and then to tell you a sentence using the word have.

Have a great evening.
