Wonderful Day

A reminder to bring in a money donation for a poppy tomorrow.

In math we practiced counting by 1s, 2s, and 5s to 60 and by 10s to 100. The students also worked by themselves and surveyed their friends about their favourite colour. Then they completed a graph to show their results. If you have time tonight please ask your child to look at the picture graph below and answer these 2 questions:

How many  coconut trees are there?  How many more grape trees are there than rose trees?

In language today we chanted out this week's word wall words. If you have time please ask your child to read this week's word wall words to you and then tell you a sentence using the word purple.

In art today we talked about how an artist shows depth and things that are far away in a picture. We also painted a field of poppies.

Have a great evening.
